What is the feeling with this kinf of fork, and, is it compatible with the big tires?

Weet je zeker dat die interessant is om een lefty vork op deze fiets?
Wat is het gevoel met deze kinf van de vork, en is het compatibel met de grote banden?
Stock they are not compatible with those wide rims but the the lefty in the pic has custom clamps (the blue ones)
so why the lefty

- 120mm travel (lefty max reduced to 120mm)
- cheap for 120-200 euro's you can find an old lefty max for that price
- light
- durable
- stiff
- lefty ;)
- ...

and just because it is possible.

Thanks for the answer.
Where do you find the custom clamps?
Why not a SL or a SL carbon, it's lighter and with 110mm travel ?

Don't you need a longer axle, because of the wider clamps? Isn't your wheel out of alignment (to the left?) with the frame and rear wheel?

check the spoke pattern of the front wheel
compleet in line with the rear.
P321 is also working on a hub for this.
the clamps are also from P321

Lefty carbon is not possible since the bonded clamps
Lefty DLR is possible with 110mm travel but because of the fat tyre you need to reduce the travel..
only 7-9 cm would be left on a non-max lefty.

Tire clearance is a must, so the asym pattern of the spoke lacing.
This pushes the centerline to the right, so custom longer clamps, to get the rim back on the centerline.

When you look at the lacing a asym pattern is used to push it to the right as the hub is a std Lefty for std rims.

A lot of calcs put in or a lot of trial and error

PS : I still have an old Lefty for sale with hub

thx to teammate el loco!!
ola pola, zeer mooi filmpje.

We do what we can :-)

Many times, on the videos, I had the sensation to see the bike playing "yoyo" because of the low pressure tires (like a full suspended bike with bad settings), do you also have this impression?
