Braine l'Alleud

Ben je van plan een route rijden? Problemen gehad met de bewegwijzering? Wat is de moeilijkheidsgraad van het parcours? Hoe ligt de route er bij na regenval?

Love the Braine l'Alleud trails, but do not recommend them if it has rained. Lots of muddy sections then. FdS is generally drier, but not sure about the new loop, the new singletrack sections might get muddy and slippery. Especially the hilly one by the railway is almost always muddy.

If you want a guided tour in FdS ... I might be able to help you out. But need to check my Calendar first ... send me a private message if you're interested, plus what distance you are looking for ... During the winter season I find it difficult to get out, unless I have a mission to guide someone, so you would probably do me a favour! :)

Verleden jaar in de zomer de 25km gereden. Hoewel ik in Halle woon, toch wel aangenaam verrast over het parcours. =D>
Leuke technische stukjes (klimmetjes en afdalingen) zoals je ze -dacht ik- enkel in de ardennen vindt.
Met de bepijling niet echt problemen gehad. Enkel in het begin was het zoeken naar de eigenlijke start. Op het einde ook geen pijltjes meer gezien. :(

Weet er iemand hoe het momenteel gesteld is met de bepijling ?
Is deze in orde, of ontbreken er pijltjes ?

I was there in June. Signage has always been a little bad, or difficult to find. By now I know the trails by heart, so cannot say if it's completely impossible to ride as a newcomer without a map.

Ja ik kan enkel maar bevestigen wat Minna zei, allé enkel het fotootje zegt al genoeg eigenlijk. Op plaatsen is het nog erger en staan er gewoon geen pijltjes meer, de trail is dringend aan onderhoud toe. Voor de rest schoon parcourske en altijd moos te vinden , zelfs in de droogste periodes.

Ik heb het een tweetal jaar geleden gereden. Toen stonden er weinig pijltjes, maar als je altijd rechtdoor ging als er geen pijltje stond kwam je er wel...

Is het nu zo veel slechter dan ?
